Prakriti and Vikriti
In Ayurveda, the body's nature, or what may be referred to as an individual's constitution, is called prakriti. Prakriti is a Sanskrit term, meaning original creation, and is inherent in the individual, determined at birth.
Vikriti is a Sanskrit term, meaning after creation, often referring to the nature of imbalance or status of an individual dependent on what is fundamentally true in a certain situation at a given time considering continual behaviors and other factors of an individual, as opposed to what is determined as fixed. This is where the importance of maintaining supportive balance derives and extends beyond the physicality of a person. When an individual is living agreeably or harmoniously within their prakriti or body's nature, they become more stabilized.
Conclusion
The body will experience various stages and circumstances depending on prevailing influences.
