Cooking Tips of Ayurveda

Herbs and spices are great for cooking since they are tasty, helpful, and supportive. Certain herbs and spices are more advantageous than others depending on an individual's body type, according to Ayurveda. Ayurvedic cooking frequently uses the following herbs and spices:

Cardamom, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Coriander, Cumin, Ginger, and Brahmi.

Meat should be prepared effectively if it is a part of a meal. Fish and poultry that are organic, particularly freshwater fish, are advantageous. Meat consumption in Ayurveda is often very low, if it is consumed at all.

Fruits should be ripe and ready to eat.

Other foods include agave, basmati rice, other grains, brown sugar, possibly dairy products like unsalted butter, ghee, and milk, plant-based ghee, eggs, herbs, herbal teas, honey, milk of some nut varieties, nuts, oils, seeds, spices and vegetables, etc. are all beneficial for the body, and organic foods are ideal.

The majority of foods should be cooked according to Ayurveda.

It is advantageous to eat dinner before or by 8 p.m., ideally much earlier but this will depend upon an individual's active schedule. It is beneficial to eat meat and other more difficult-to-digest items between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Meals should be consumed consciously in a calm setting while focusing on the proper intake of food without being distracted by technology or participating in other physical activity. Chewing food thoroughly is necessary. Eating should not be done hastily.
