According to some inclusive concepts of Ayurvedic knowledge, the following care tips may be considered for individuals with either Vata, Pitta, or Kapha Dosha predominance:




Vata Dosha Predominance Care Tips


Bedtime is best before 10 pm

Usual practice of a daily routine

Moderately Exercise

Practicing Meditation

Waking at the same time every day

Intake a glass of warm water after waking in the morning

Warm nourishing oil massages

Afternoon naps

Keep warm because Vata predominance is cold in nature




Pitta Dosha Predominance Care Tips


Maintain a balance between resting and activities

Avoid skipping meals

Take time to enjoy nature

Sweet, cooling aromas (aromatherapy) is ideal because Pitta predominance is warm in nature




Kapha Dosha Predominance Care Tips


Regulate food intake by eating less than your feelings of hunger

Intake of no more than three meals a day

Intake of warmly cooked meals

Minimal intake of ghee, oil

Intake of foods sweetened with honey to support balance of Kapha
